The 15th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport (IACSS 2025) was successfully held from September 12 to 15, 2025, at Tokyo Gakugei University, Japan.

The symposium brought together around 135 scholars, experts and students from Austria, Germany, China, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, Hong Kong (China), Chinese Taipei, India, Mongolia, Greece, Finland, and Japan.

This year’s program featured four keynote presentations, two special symposia, and one special lecture. A total of 102 submissions were received, of which 81 were accepted as oral presentations. The conference presentations covered a broad range of topics, including data analytics, machine learning, virtual reality, performance modeling, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies applied in sport training, competitive performance, sport health, and physical education.

During the symposium, the IACSS 2025 General Assembly was held. President Prof. Hui Zhang delivered a report on IACSS activities over the past two years. Treasurer Dr. Juliana Exel presented the financial report, and Editor-in-Chief Prof. Arnold Baca provided an update on the International Journal of Computer Science in Sport (IJCSS). The Assembly also elected the new leadership team of IACSS. Prof. Hui Zhang was re-elected as President, while Dr. Exel is now the new General Secretary and Prof. Matthias Kempe will contribute as the Treasurer of IACSS.

The organizers expressed their sincere appreciation to the conference sponsors, including Chingmu, Meleap, Pestalozzi Technology, Qlik, Splyza, and Mingaku for their generous support.

Looking ahead, the 16th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport will take place at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2027, followed by the 17th Symposium at Dankook University, South Korea, in 2029. We warmly welcome all colleagues and friends to join us at these future events.
